M6toll Reignites Drive for Charity with a Call to Empower Local Women on International Women’s Day
M6toll is thrilled to announce the relaunch of its renowned Drive for Charity campaign, setting the stage to support a diverse range of community projects, charities, and voluntary organisations across the Midlands.
With an impressive history of over £1.5 million in donations since the road opened 21 years ago, M6toll’s Drive for Charity campaign is gearing up to make an even greater impact in 2025 in recognition of 21 years of operation.
The campaign encompasses three major initiatives:
- Strategic Charity Partnerships: Establishing two-year partnerships with three local charities to focus on education and safety, sustainability and biodiversity, and community and culture.
- On the Road School Travel Scheme: Continuing to facilitate eligible schools and colleagues to benefit from free use of the M6toll via a breeze account.
- In the Community Scheme: Inviting grassroots projects to apply for funding based on quarterly themes, starting with a focus on women’s initiatives.
To kick off the newly revamped campaign, M6toll is focusing on International Women’s Day for its first In the Community scheme quarterly theme, inviting organisations that support local women to apply for funding boosts of up to £1,250. These funds aim to empower women through meaningful community projects.
Jo Seabright, Marketing & Communications and Customer Experience Director at M6toll, shared, “Our commitment to the welfare of our local community goes beyond the toll booths. We deeply care about the towns and villages surrounding the motorway, and our Drive for Charity campaign is designed to support them.”
