Midland Expressway Limited are seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Strategy & Business Performance.

In this role, your tasks will include:

· Define and aid implementation of revenue operation controls across the end-to-end process (trip to cash) and liaise with relevant departments to maximise revenue.

· Define KPIs/metrics and monitor performance across LV/product, HV/customer, core markets/segments, and channel/campaign

· Determine growth forecasts and delivery performance, relative to investment strategy

· Outturn a range of analysis, reports & recommendations, on a regular and ad hoc basis (weekly, monthly,     quarterly, annual)

o   Traffic

o   Revenue

o   Service

o   Product

o   Pricing

o   Channels

o   Frequencies

o   Market penetration

o   LV/HV customer segments

o   Competitor strategy

o   Market influences and trends

· Support development of annual/long-term traffic forecasts and scenarios to inform the business plan and product/pricing strategy

· Liaise with internal & external comms, where data plays a critical role e.g. customer reports, stakeholder reports and present at key meetings

·Employ a variety of proprietary and 3rd party data sources to access market, customer, service and channel insights

· Create market insight summaries

· Reveal learnings that drive continual improvement

· Work with the Strategy & Business Performance Manager to ensure MEL decision making is insight-led, substantiated with critical data/metrics

· Specify SB&P data and reporting system requirements, and provide implementation support

· Identify key influences, trends, risks and opportunities

· Develop investment recommendations, impact projections and forecasts

· Support the Exec team in preparing presentations for key stakeholders

· Develop sector knowledge and expertise across UK markets and relevant stakeholder influences

Performance:

· Accurate and insightful submissions to support of the S&BP plan (in line with the MEL business plan and growth objectives) to enable delivery of personal annual objectives, relating to MEL markets/customers, revenue/products, channels/service, or strategic initiatives such as the transformation programme.

Budgets/supplier management:

· Effective management of workstreams to time/budget/impact objectives, adopting a project-style approach to ensure performance of self, colleagues, or suppliers.

Innovation, quality & efficiencies:

· Demonstrate an ethos of continual improvement through the launch and delivery of new initiatives to improve quality, efficiencies or cost savings

· Effective supplier/budget management set against the objectives set, delivering efficiency savings or service improvements where possible

Essential skills:

· Degree level qualification in relevant field

· Segment performance analysis and lifetime value

· Volume/value forecasting and risk impact assessment

· ROI analysis

· Detailed understanding of the opportunities and challenges inherent in enrichment of data

· Budgeting and Forecasting

· Experience gained in a similar Commercial Finance sphere

· Reporting optimisation

· Highly proficient in Microsoft office to advanced level

· Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills

· High attention to detail & accuracy

· Proficient at communicating complex issues succinctly and in an engaging way to motivate/influence        others

· Proven track record in a similar role

·  Experience of delivering a comprehensive range of insights to support service-led growth strategies

Desirable

· Market/sector experience or understanding

· Digital channel attribution modelling

· Project lead, involving collaboration with/matrix management of others to secure successful delivery

· BI/reporting optimisation
